Romano Roth is Group Chief AI Officer and Partner at Zühlke. He helps CTOs/CIOs turn AI ambition into an operating model with clear feedback loops, decision rights, governance, and platform foundations that make execution repeatable.

With more than two decades of experience spanning software engineering, architecture, consulting, and executive leadership, Romano bridges strategy and execution to help organizations deliver outcomes in complex environments.

He is the author of “The Cybernetic Enterprise: How to Build a Future-Ready Organization” and a regular speaker at industry conferences. He writes the newsletter The CAIO and hosts the podcast Prompt & Proper.

Romano lectures on DevOps, agile methods, digital transformation and enterprise architecture at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. He organizes the monthly DevOps Meetup Zürich and is president of DevOpsDays Zürich.
